This Privacy Policy explains how MindGuardian ("MindGuardian", "we", "us") handles information when you use the MindGuardian mobile application (the "App") and this website.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address (or the identity returned by Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In) so you can sign in and recover your account.
- Health and wellness information you enter — mood entries, journal notes, check-ins and conversations with the in-app assistant. This information is provided voluntarily and is used only to deliver the App's features to you.
- Purchase information — subscription status is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details.
- Technical information — device type, operating system version, app version and crash/diagnostic data needed to keep the App working.
How we use information
- To provide, personalize and improve the App's features.
- To keep your account secure and respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share user data with other companies for their own purposes. Data is processed by the service providers that run the App (for example cloud hosting, authentication and the AI model provider) only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of wellness information.
Data retention and deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from inside the App or by following the steps on mindguardian.app/delete-account. We delete the data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.
Children
The App is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Not medical advice
MindGuardian is a wellness tool and is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your information. Contact us at contact@mindguardian.app to exercise them.
